We just opened contributions for ReadRiff. What makes you actually want to write for a publication?

by

One thing I realized while building ReadRiff is that most platforms compete for readers, but very few genuinely help thoughtful people share what they know.

So today I opened Write for ReadRiff.

The idea is simple: if you have something genuinely worth teaching, explaining, or sharing, you can become a contributor. You don't need to be a professional writer. You could be a student, founder, developer, researcher, designer, educator, or simply someone with an idea that's worth reading.

We're looking for articles about AI, technology, business, psychology, finance, philosophy, science, productivity, entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, and many more.

Every submission goes through an editorial review focused on clarity, accuracy, and long-term value, not chasing trends or clickbait. Contributors retain ownership of their work, and if an article doesn't need edits, it'll be published almost exactly as submitted.

ReadRiff is still in its early stages, so we're also inviting people to join the Founding Reader waitlist before launch.

I'm curious about something:

If you've ever wanted to publish your ideas online, what has stopped you?

  • Not knowing where to publish?

  • Fear that nobody will read it?

  • Too many low-quality platforms?

  • Something else?

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts because this community has built and launched some incredible products.
