The feature people use the most... wasn't requested by anyone.

Funny enough, our most-used workflow wasn't built because someone asked for it.
It came from watching where people got stuck.
Sometimes users don't ask for a feature.
They show you the problem.
Building FixerFlip reminded me that observing behavior is often more valuable than collecting feature requests.
Have you ever built something nobody requested that people ended up loving?

The same split shows up in feedback generally, not just features. What people say they want and what they actually do when using the thing are often different signals entirely, and the behavior one is harder to fake or misremember. Curious what the actual moment was, did you see people doing something the feature was not built for yet, or repeatedly hitting a wall in the same spot?
