I’ve been working on HUNCH — and it’s finally ready for people to play.

by

HUNCH is an interactive scam-awareness game built around a simple question: can you recognize a scam when you’re actually put in the situation?

Instead of presenting scam awareness as a list of rules, HUNCH turns it into a series of decisions. You’re given a scenario, you have limited time to respond, and your choices determine how you progress through the game.

I’ve tried to make the scenarios progressively less obvious, because recognizing an obviously fake message isn’t particularly interesting. The harder part is figuring out what to do when something looks almost legitimate.

I’m sharing it here because I’m at the stage where feedback is much more useful than another round of building things in isolation.

If you play it, I’d especially like feedback on three things:

1. Which scenarios felt genuinely difficult?
2. Did the game make you think differently about scam messages?
3. What would make you want to play another round?

HUNCH is also launching on Product Hunt:

Would love to hear what you think — especially the brutally honest feedback. That’s the useful kind.
