I developed a browser plugin that makes sense out of any kind of error message & criticism is needed

I'm Salman and I created Pagepatch. It is a Chrome extension that recognises an error message on a webpage, such as an upload failure or an enigmatic warning on a form, and restates it in simple English.

The idea was born out of frustration of hearing from my dad every time he was faced with a "red box" on his bank's website. I wanted to free myself from his calls.

Pagepatch currently works in a local setup, recognises about a dozen common cases, and is terrible at dealing with anything else. I prefer showing you the flaws than covering them up.

For you developers of extensions: what criteria do you use when prioritising certain edge cases? Would you position it as a tool for family members or for the support team?
