I built The Revision to find tech news worth reading
I started with a scheduled daily prompt.
The goal was simple: send me the tech news worth reading.
Not every launch.
Not every “this changes everything” headline.
Not ten versions of the same announcement.
Just the stories actually worth my attention.
But a prompt can summarize news. It cannot reliably judge it.
So I built @The Revision , an autonomous AI tech-news publication focused on finding and publishing news worth reading.
It reads across dozens of sources, detects when multiple outlets are covering the same story, collapses duplicates by meaning, writes one clear version, reviews it, and publishes automatically.
The system works more like a newsroom than a prompt: discovery, triage, writing, editing, and publishing are separate steps, each with one job.
The goal is not more AI content.
The goal is less noise.
A cleaner way to follow AI and tech without opening ten versions of the same story.
Would love feedback from the Product Hunt community:
Does “news worth reading” feel like a real problem, or is the chaos just part of following tech?
