Building APEX PULSE PRO - trying to make AI fitness feel like a real performance system
I’m building APEX PULSE PRO, an AI fitness and performance product.
The idea is not to make another workout tracker or a chatbot with fitness prompts.
I want the product to feel like one connected system where the athlete, training decisions, feedback, and AI all work together.
A big part of that is APEX Core - the visual and interactive center of the product. It is meant to communicate state and make the experience feel more alive, rather than just adding more dashboards and metrics.
The hardest part so far has been balancing intelligence with simplicity.
It’s very easy to make a fitness product look “advanced” by adding more data, cards, scores, and controls. It’s much harder to decide what the user actually needs to see right now.
I’m still refining that balance.
If you build products in fitness, AI, or performance, I’d genuinely be interested in one thing:
What usually makes a product in this category feel premium to you - and what immediately makes it feel generic?
