We made Second Brain feel more like a brain

I realized the backend had gotten a lot smarter, but the dashboard still felt like looking at a database.
So 2.3 is mostly about fixing that.
The home screen is now one place to ask something, save something, and see what’s been happening in your brain. There’s a new daily view of activity, sources and topics. Memories and the graph now live together. Answers are better grounded in the memories they came from. Tags can actually be managed. And the whole thing stays fresh without needing a manual reload.
I also spent a lot of time removing things. Fewer destinations. Less system metadata leaking into the UI. Destructive actions moved out of the way. Settings are focused on things you can actually do.
The web version works really well as a PWA on mobile, and Desktop 1.3.0 is out for macOS and Windows.
This was less about adding another layer of features and more about making the intelligence that was already there actually visible.
Would love feedback on the new dashboard, especially from anyone who tried an earlier version.

"The backend had gotten a lot smarter, but the dashboard still felt like looking at a database." Felt this one personally. I build LemmeBuyIt, a shopping and product intelligence platform, and the hardest lesson has been exactly this: the intelligence is only as good as its visibility.
You can have the smartest engine in the world, but if the UI presents it as rows and metadata, users experience a database, not a brain.
What impresses me most here is that you spent the update removing things. Every builder's instinct at 2.3 is to add another feature layer, and you did the opposite: fewer destinations, less system metadata leaking through, destructive actions out of the way. That takes discipline, and it's usually the update users actually feel even if they can't articulate why.
Answers grounded in the memories they came from is the right call too. Trust in any AI memory tool comes from being able to see WHY it said what it said. Same principle applies in my space with product data, show the receipts or lose the user.
How does the daily activity view handle a heavy capture day, does it summarize or just list? And does the PWA support capture on mobile or is it mostly for review?
Checking out the new dashboard now.
