S2 - Fast money transfers. No surprises.

As an immigrant in Germany, I know what it feels like to be far from the people you love. You work hard, you save, and when it’s time to send money home to your family, the one thing that should be effortless ends up feeling anything but. Instead, you get hit with hidden fees, slow processing, and interfaces that seem built to confuse you. Germany, for all its strengths, showed me just how broken money transfers still are. It shouldn’t take three days and a math degree to send money to your mom. That frustration led me to build S2. Not as a business idea on a whiteboard, but out of real experience, real need, and the belief that moving money should feel as easy as sending a message. While building it, I learned something powerful: sending money, whether to family abroad or to friends nearby, can actually be fast and simple with stablecoins. That insight shaped S2 into more than just a remittance product. It’s a simple way to send money across borders or between friends, using something as familiar as WhatsApp.
