How did you decide which GitHub metrics actually show AI value?

@nathaniel_george We worked very closely with Rippling Engineering leaders to understand what would actually be valuable. They wanted to see core metrics like PR volume or cost per PR and then interestingly, metrics like AI-assisted code that shows high rework/high revisions.

Tracking progress and coordinating lots of different kinds of asynchronous events
APIs can be slow to connect and also stream data from so we had to fix that

@kate_sleeman Yes! It can show you spending trends over time. For example, you could see AI spend over time by department or AI spend over time by model.

@kate_sleeman This is a great use case! You can also pair those spend trends with GitHub output data so you can see whether it's translating into more or better output over that same period.

@kate_sleeman Yes! Your dashboards will go back to the beginning of your usage, and you can filter to a specific date range. It will also point out how you're trending for the time being so you can see if there's an outlier that you need to take action on.
