Rezi has reinvented how job seekers make a resume. Rezi is the only company to approach creating optimized resumes against the hiring software (ATS) used by large companies. Because of this, a Rezi resume “beats the system."
Hey guys, I’m Jacob, founder at Rezi. I’m proud to show what we’ve built for you.
Rezi is a company I started in 2015 right after graduating college to help young job seekers, mostly students, make resume appropriate for large & competitive companies.
The idea of Rezi came to me considering I had a 2.2 GPA but I was landing interviews at the most competitive companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, Dropbox, and more. My resume was getting me interviews I had no business receiving. So what was the secret? My resume was consistently being picked up by the applicant tracking systems that select resumes to interview.
Rezi is a resume software that allows job seekers to quickly and effortlessly make a resume that is optimized to pass hiring systems. It’s really cool, you can check the product photos if you want to see how it works.
My favorite features of Rezi would probably be the Rezi Score - the Rezi Score is a measure of completeness that gently guides users to create a perfect one-page resume. And the Rezi Resume Review - which allows job seekers to flag a resume for an expert review for as low as 8$.
Lastly, Rezi is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, where we’ve grown to be the leading English resume company for global job seekers as well as the most awarded global startup.
Here is an awesome article that explains how to make a proper resume > https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/w...

@abishekhkc Hey Abishekh, yes Rezi is totally free! You can even create a guest account if you just want to check out how it works.

It looks like a cool product and I like the fact that we can use it without creating an account but the thing is that the light gray (#B2BAC2) text is REALLY hard to read against the white background.
I really don't understand why an increasingly high number of people/companies do that. Is it supposed to look more modern? The contrast is so low but the text is hard to read even for people with normal eyesight, like me. It makes me just want to skip it because reading takes so much effort.
Also, it doesn't accept URLs that don't start with "https://". In my opinion that's pretty unnecessary.
It would be nice if you added more customization options. It does need to be over the top but something simple like being able to use a different font would make the experience much more pleasant.
The Rezi score feature seems like something that could be really useful but I don't know what sort of criteria used to rate the resumes... It might be explained somewhere in the website but most people—myself included—won't feel like spending time to search for the answer, without even knowing that there is one. You could add a link next to the score that read something "How do we calculate this?" or "click here to learn more"!
I like it a lot overall, there are just some small things that need to be improved! 😄
@anna_0x Hey thanks for the comment - the Rezi Score is explained here - https://intercom.help/rezihelp/e...
The Rezi Score is a measure of completeness for each resume in a user's dashboard - simply put, the Rezi Score considers the amount of resume content, compares it to a target, and translates the difference into an index measured from 1 to 100. (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/h...)
"Also, it doesn't accept URLs that don't start with "https://". In my opinion that's pretty unnecessary." We are fixing this now :)
We'll also sort out the contrast issue - I am just not a great designer

@jacob_rezi nice, thanks! About the contrast issue... I don't think it has anything to do with design skills! You don't need any sort of skills to notice that the text is hard to read ;) perhaps your monitor is bigger and that makes up for the low contrast!
@jacob_rezi Great product. From my perspective as both an entrepreneur and someone who ran a recruiting firm I would emphasize the fact that Rezi makes it easier to write a resume as opposed to the fact that it helps you game the system. Writing resumes is difficult even the smartest people. If this makes it easier and removes the psychological stress that resume writing can cause then it's worth it. While I might feel great that I'm getting a bunch of interviews, if I never get a job because I've gamed the system and my experience doesn't stand up to the scrutiny of an interview is Rezi really helping me?
@robert_zalaudek Hey thanks for the comment - I would tend to think Rezi is great at making sure qualified people aren't kept from interviews as a result of not understanding correct resume practices. I'd like to emphasis the word qualified since Rezi wouldn't benefit the unqualified job seeker more than any other resume.
@shaaaaawn Hey Shawn, thanks for being an early support of Rezi - I really appreciate it. We are working on both fixes for the next release.
Details for everyone else - "fi" bug is an issue which causes "fi" not to be pasted if you copy and paste the resume content.
Report
@jacob_rezi Thanks I appreciate the response and great work on the product. In addition to 'fi' bug breaking on copy/paste it also breaks on upload/scan in certain ATS (workday) I've applied to.
Only other request for future release would be to add the Resume Title you are working in to be displayed on the page somewhere. Commonly I find myself copy/pasting between Resume's and a little difficult to know which tab is which resume. If that makes sense.
Thanks again! My girlfriend is a paid user as well so nice work
@shaaaaawn Hey Shawn the FI issue has been sorted out!

I'm a new Rezi user, paid for the service etc... 1st the pro's the resume template is easy to use and professional-ish. Now the cons: Customer service is unresponsive, there is only one template to choose from (resume & cover letter), there are a ton of formatting issues you have to fix if you download the .docx format, the site is lacking explanations about terms used and meanings. Additionally, the site promises a 5 day turn around time for reviews for paying customers... fast forward to day 7 and I have yet to receive my review after several attempts to reach someone. Spend the extra money and get your resume from a reputable site. Save yourself the time and hassle
@d_smith Hey there - can you message me the email of your account? All resume reviews from 7 days out are reviewed.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll message you privately to hear more about some things you've mentioned.

@jacob_rezi Hello- I just permanently deleted my account which I assume means I cancelled my service?? However, I could not delete my CC info. Can you assist? I'd like to canccel immediately. Tx
@rezi@jacob_rezi@d_smith Would you mind to let us know if you got a refund in the end, and if your review was complete? I could not find any refund policy on their website, I just been scammed by TopResume so I would not want to go through this again.
