Why two people can get different ChatGPT recommendations?

2 people. Same query on ChatGPT. You would expect them to get the same answer. But they might not. Why?

Because ChatGPT doesn't always answer based only on the words you type. It also uses context. What does "context" actually mean? ChatGPT assumes context from your history.

Basically, AI tries to infer: "Who is asking this?" before deciding "What is the best answer?"

AI Search works differently. Instead of matching keywords the way search used to work, AI matches intent and context. Instead of asking: "Does this page contain these words?" AI asks: "Would this company make sense for this particular person?"

That's a huge shift.

Because AI is trying to recommend the best fit, not simply the page with the best keywords.

If AI can recommend different brands to different people for the same query, how are you thinking about measuring your brand's visibility beyond running a fixed set of prompts?

Agreed but try asking your LLM (doesn't matter which): “give me a random number from 1 to 30” ... They'll always say 17
