Before you run screaming at the thought of another remote job board, ask yourself: "what do existing remote job boards do that's specific to remote?" This gives job seekers a much better sense of the kind of remote team they might join, and employers a chance to show that they are genuinely committed to making remote work. 🏆 The best experience for everyone Existing pricing models for traditional remote job boards are unrealistic. Posting a job often starts at several hundred $ and then quickly ramps up with 'extras' like paying just to show your company logo. Not only do we think this is unfair, it creates a dark pattern where companies can pay extra for a 'featured' ad, which is coupled with a poor search experience for job seekers. This incentivizes poor UX in order to charge more to job posters. With Remotely we offer a single, low fee based on the length of time you want to post your job (starting at just $89). All ads are treated equally, and we provide powerful search features on top to let users easily find what they are looking for, including searching by time of day! 🎁 We want your feedback! We have offer 3 pricing levels based on the length of time you want your job to remain active: $89 - 1 week $149 - 1 month $199 - 6 weeks No matter which option you choose, all posts receive all features and are displayed equally. We have some localised currencies as well (£ and EUR) and will be adding more very soon!

Thanks Tristan - I spent a long time looking at how e-commerce sites handle filters and facets to get inspiration and I'm pleased with the results. Over time with more roles added it'll be interesting to see the different facets that emerge - and happy to take any suggestions!
As a remote engineer myself, I really like how well the data is structured and how easy it is to find appropriate working timezones. That’s a hassle most of the time. UI is amazing and I’m happy to see more and more products being build with tailwind. Accessibility is great and the UX is close to perfect. Having worked with Duncan before, I know the passion and attention to detail that will ho into this product. Great job, my friend

Congratulations on the launch! Really like the clean UI of the website. In terms of usability, I would love to see some more filterable categories, especially non-tech categories. It would also be great to have some resources for the new visitors, for example some material on how to approach the job opening, how to apply, etc. I understand that this is just the beginning but these suggestions can be put in the back-log for future reference 😅

Thank you Aditya, this is fantastic feedback! A really big ambition for Remotely is to enable remote work for everyone - not just those of us in tech related roles. We've focussed early on with tech and related roles to get quick feedback on the basics but we are keen to branch out and support remote work in areas where it's currently less available. Part of that challenge is helping companies themselves approach remote work, so resources on how to do so is a great idea - for both job hunters and posters! We definitely hear you on better category filters as well - we're striving to keep the interface as clean and simple as possible so this will be our next fun UX challenge!

UI is slightly confusing! Would love to see addition of more jobs and a search bar to quickly filter through countries. But otherwise, I'll be using this soon 👍

Thanks Mike! We definitely want to get more jobs added, and we're certainly working on it! We hear you on the searchable countries - we're trying to balance the ability to choose exact countries with simplicity but we still have a way to go. Can I ask - are you viewing on mobile or desktop? And if we added more roles, what type of jobs would you like to see?
I'm on desktop! Roles wise, I would love to see more iOS dev roles :)

Thanks Harry, I spent way longer than any founder should on some of those pixels.
I posted a job on this last week - got a few really decent candidates in my pipeline for a design role. Pricing was waaay cheaper than other options I've come across online too - we're very happy!
