Mine was a post about pricing experiments. I read it, I remember the argument clearly something about anchoring on the middle tier. I had saved it. And six weeks later I could not find it, because the only thing I remembered was the idea, and the only things a bookmark stores are a title and a URL. Neither of those contained the word "anchoring". Twenty minutes gone re-finding something I had already found.
That gap is what interests me. A bookmark records where a thing was, not what it said. So the search you actually run later "the one about X" is the one search your browser can't answer.
