Great product @guillaumebardet!! A big time saver. Now I don't need to remember every link I bookmark. All the links stored in Qlearly are well categorized and saved so I can search and find them whenever I want in no time.

@monik_gandhi That's awesome to hear, I am glad you have found it to be a good solution so far! Let me know if you have any questions, I will be around :)

Qleary is great tool. Love it. 😃 if you are working on a few different projects, you can organize your bookmarks wonderfully using this Qleary..! Bug: There is a option to write click one a page and save it to a board, sometimes it's not working, you have to open qleary-> current tabs and drag and drop the item in to Column. sometimes Syncing is not working as well, I lost some board names and few bookmarks due to this.

@sankha_lakshan_karunasekara1 Hello Sankha, thank you very much for pointing this out. I am indeed aware, we should have it all fixed in the next update we publish in about a week :) I hope you will consider sticking around until then!

How is this different from or better than Toby? Not saying it's not different/better. Just curious on the vision / differentiation.
Guillaume Bardet
@haoyangnz That's a good question! I was a toby user a while back, unfortunately, I found the organization process to be interesting but mainly for the short them. The links you saved quickly got lost below other collections. I believe the columns/boards is a better long term solution. The new tab loads about 2-3x faster which is surprising. You can also create tasks, bulk import links, create public boards/columns etc. I hope this clarifies it a bit, let me know if you have any other questions!

@guillaumebardet OK. I don't fully understand. In terms of the collections getting lost below other collections - isn't it just a matter of horizontal collections vs vertical collections? At the end it's still restricted by the screen real estate? (Not trying to be annoying 😅- just curious about the thinking at a product level.) Of course the other stuff you mentioned are helpful but I guess they're mainly incremental differences, not a 10x experience - so was wondering if the vision contained some fundamental change.
Guillaume Bardet
@haoyangnz Sorry about the delay Haoyang, agreed, sorry I was mainly comparing it to Toby as that was the specific question. Our main plan is to connect the column with certain data. Here's a screenshot of an example for the RSS Feeds / APIs. It isn't final just yet but we would like to do something similar with other platforms like Tasks managers, File systems, Payment systems etc. We also plan to start to work on a mobile & tablet version which has been requested quite a bit. :)

@guillaumebardet I see. To be honest, I'm not sure if the RSS feeds etc really helps. It creates a single extension that tackles potentially aggregator/tab mgmt/todo which means consumers can use 1 single new tab extension, but it also takes away from the usability of a tab manager. I think to begin with maybe just build a good tab manager first, which doesn't yet exist yet on the market, which would differentiate yourself and gain traction before branching out and building a jack-of-all-trades. Just my 2c. If you'd like to discuss more I'm open to having a chat. Quite interested in the space 😉

Hi there! Totally loved the idea, so simple and yet something that any overwhelmed with tasks Internet user is needed. I tried the products without registration. Everything was crystal clear, fast. created with love, I guess :) However, once attempted to create an account got stuck (the loading circle still rolling while I am writing this) and it's been for a while - probably the product's infrastructure not keeping up with the sudden spike of demand after PH's newsletter :) Another suggestion that was mentioned somewhere between the line (maybe it's fixable?) I would prefer to launch the new tab and see something soothing (I use Momentum) rather than something stressful (the list of things that I have to address creeps me out). But overall - THANK YOU @guillaumebardet - very impressive and very much needed by humanity!
Guillaume Bardet
@coinjive Hi Anastasia, thank you very much for taking the time to get involved! We were indeed aware of the registration issue and fixed it :) I completely understand about the new tab, we are working on different themes and backgrounds. In the meantime, you can turn off the new tab feature if you would prefer. Here is how to turn it off.

It may be an incredible extension, but it requests excessive permissions. Extensions such as "Session Buddy" or "Tabs Outliner" fulfill the same function and only need "Read browser history" to work...

Pros:

It works incredible; At the expense of your privacy?

Cons:

Requests unjustified permissions

I can see this working well with History Search and Pocket.

Pros:

Works in Firefox! Great way to organize my 263 tabs that I have open.

Cons:

Don't take over my "New Tab" screen. Adjustable column widths. Improve "Current Tabs" drag-n-drop.

The website mentions that it has device sync. How does that work? How can I access all the links I saved in one board in Qlearly on macOS Chrome, in iOS Chrome?
Guillaume Bardet
@aahlfeeyann Hello Alfian, thank you for taking the time to get involved! We had some issues with syncing these past few days. Some of it has been fixed, the rest will be fixed as soon as the 2.01 version will be published. It is currently being reviewed by Google! I am sorry if you encountered some issues. As of now, you could sync the extension with multiple browsers/computers. We are starting to work on the iOS version and Android version. We will likely first release an app called 'Save To Qlearly' which would allow you to quickly save tabs on the go. Next, we will release a version that allows you to access your bookmarks etc. I hope you will be willing to stick around until then!

Congrats on the launch Qlearly @guillaumebardet!!!! I have been using it for some time now and I got to say: It really is a times' saver. I work in different projects during the week, so it's very convenient to open everything you need at once when you need it. Great job!
Guillaume Bardet
@iluisdaniel Thank you for getting involved Luis, I really appreciate it! I am glad you know it has been a time saver for you. Let me know if you have any suggestions :)

Very simple and familiar interface

Cons:

Still trying it out.

I like it! To have some more colors for the columns would be cool. So we could have every group in another color.

Pros:

easy to organize all the open and important tabs under groups- good for tab messies like me

Cons:

nothing
