Does an AI humanizer need a built-in detector, or is rewriting enough?
Hi Product Hunt community,
I’m building ProofWrite around a simple workflow:
Humanize AI-generated text, then verify the revised version without switching between different tools.
Most products focus on either rewriting or AI detection. We’re exploring whether combining both steps is genuinely useful for students, researchers, writers, and content teams who need to improve naturalness while preserving the original meaning, facts, tone, and citations.
We’re not trying to promise a guaranteed “detector bypass.” AI detectors can be inconsistent. The goal is to help users produce clearer, more natural writing and review the result with more context.
I’d really appreciate your honest feedback:
1. When refining AI-assisted writing, what matters most to you: naturalness, meaning preservation, citation safety, or detector feedback?
2. Would you prefer one-click automatic rewriting, or more manual control over each change?
3. What would make you trust—or distrust—an AI humanizer?
Our current positioning is:
“Humanize AI text and verify it in one click.”
Your feedback will help us decide what to improve next. I’ll read and reply to every comment.
