Hey Product Hunt 👋
We’re Tobias and Nico, and over the past months, we kept asking ourselves the same question:
Why is prompt engineering still so fragmented?
Great prompts are scattered across ChatGPT histories, screenshots, Notion docs, and random tweets. They’re hard to reuse, impossible to organize, and rarely optimized.
So, we built Promptacore. Your system for creating, managing, and using prompts across the tools you already work with.
🧠 In the Webapp, you can build and structure prompts with AI assistance.
🧩 With the Chrome Extension, you can save prompts from anywhere and apply them directly where you work.
✨ And soon, you’ll even be able to optimize prompts right in the browser.
Our goal is simple: make prompting effortless and creative again.
You don’t just use AI, you collaborate with it.
We’d love to hear from you:
👉 How are you currently managing your prompts?

I must say there's a huge gap between exciting video and reality: for me it was pretty hard to grasp any meaning from the product interface and make it work for me, even though I do have a pain point of organizing dozens and dozens of prompts for various kinds of tools. So from initially willing to get on board with free trial, I dropped after 10 minutes of trying to make it work. Good luck with improving and addressing the pain point for real, though!

Hi Artem,
Thank you for your honest feedback.
Unfortunately, we couldn't tell from your message exactly what it is about the product interface that is preventing you from using the tool the way you need to.
We saw that you are a UX designer yourself, so perhaps you could give us some constructive feedback on what you think we could do better.
We could also do this in a short meeting and give you an onboarding session so that you can use the tool and we can use your tips to make the process easier for others.
In return, you will receive a free trial of the Pro features.

Hi Tobi and Nico.
I'm really glad that someone is finally addressing this issue. I've been searching for a long time for a simple prompt management system that I can use to manage and create prompts. It seems like I've finally found what I'm looking for.
Great work.
I would be interested to know when the prompt optimization feature for the extension is coming.
I often just want to get a quick response from an AI without investing a lot of time in prompting. Having a way to quickly turn what's on my mind into a meaningful prompt would be a real game changer.
Best regards,
Nils - ClarifAI

Hi Nils,
We're glad you like our tool.
Yes, we also see on-the-fly prompt optimization as a major enhancement for the extension. You've actually summarized the use case for it very well.
But we want to go one step further. In addition to a simple one-click solution for the entered text, we want to offer another option to refine the prompt according to various criteria. Depending on the setup, the prompt should then be optimized for different use cases.
I don't want to give too much away at this point, but suffice it to say that it's going to be a really cool feature.
It will be included in our next major update, so stay tuned :)

Super interesting! Does Promptacore also track performance or help you A/B test prompts over time? That would be a game changer.

@vik_sh
Hi Viktor, glad to hear from you!
This is actually a feature that is already on our roadmap.
In addition to classic A/B testing, we also want to develop a system that allows prompts to be evaluated and rated according to various quality criteria (such as relevance, consistency, comprehensibility, controllability, and efficiency).
Basically, a kind of benchmarking system for prompts.
This should also serve to show users why certain prompts are better than others.
Precisely because prompt engineering still seems like magic to many people, we want to make it more tangible and comprehensible.
If you have any specific ideas or suggestions, we would love to hear from you.

Hey Product Hunt community,
I'm Tobias, one of the makers of Promptacore.
We’re convinced that prompts will remain a key part of how we interact with AI for a long time. After all, the model needs to understand what we want.
We don't want to spend hours trying to communicate with AI; we want to turn ideas into results as effortlessly as possible.
The path from having an idea to expressing it to a model should feel natural and frictionless.
That’s exactly what we’re aiming for with Promptacore: making the process of creating, organizing, and using prompts as effortless and intuitive as it should be.
So you can stay in the creative flow, not get lost in the busywork.
We’d love to hear your thoughts. What do you think is still missing in the way we work with prompts today?
