Product Hunt Tab - A virtual co-working space in your browser's new tab

I like the todos and to see the other makers currently working. But I cannot have a list of products below. This is too distracting! Usually I block producthunt.com while working.

Seems very cool! I really like the idea. Some feedback: - When you're in dark mode and you open a new tab, the screen is completely white, then the intercom icon appears and suddenly, the app is rendered on top of all that. I think the screen should turn dark as fast as possible, even better if that happens instantaneously. It could be pretty hurtful for your eyes during the night. - Load and display less stuff in focus mode. Why load the intercom app, for example? - In focus mode, try to display everything on the screen without scroll. On my 1920x1080 display, the second row of makers is hidden, and there's plenty of space for it. - It doesn't display makers near my physical region. Perhaps there's not enough? Might be an issue.

Simple but effective. Really curious how you're going to develop and expand this. This feature wish list looks endless haha.

Love the layout, dark mode and the subtle details like location icon. Thanks PH team for this simple extension which can impact a lot remote workers.

Love this idea, I do wish I could see the screenshots again of the products websites though. Looking forward to more options with this in the future! Also, I do like that the upvotes work again, I've been bookmarking products more instead of upvoting them for about a year now because it didn't work in the last extension for me.

Pros:

Makes me (a remote worker) feel more productive and less isolated.

Cons:

Maybe option to remove the shuffle? Also, show me the outside temp if you're gonna be using geolocation? Should be a pretty easy addition.

I thought this was primarily a way to connect people working in isolation. But it's mostly a way to put PH's feed on every new browser window. That's counter-productive for me.
