šŸ”„ Drop your tagline and I'll try to guess what your product is

by•

A tagline is the first piece of content a user will see about your product on the leaderboard. It's so important that you get it right. You should be able to get a really solid idea of what your product is just by reading a handful of words.

In the spirit of forever optimising our taglines, I wanted to do a little experiment:

Drop your tagline in the comments and I'll guess what your product is. If I guess correctly, you know you're on the right path, if not there might be some rejigging needed, which I'll give some tips for.

Meet Kaily, your AI teammate that gets things done

Ā ā€œAI teammateā€ is extremely generic. Is Kaily writing emails, running outreach, summarizing docs, scheduling meetings or building dashboards? Is she an executive or a dev?

ā€œGets things doneā€... what things, for whom or how it’s better than every other AI assistant.

Tagline Test for SupplementIQ

Subject: Launching SupplementIQ (Health/AI)

Maker: Mahmoud El-Bashir

Hello, Aaron! Great initiative. We’re launching an AI platform designed to cut through the confusion of the supplement aisle.

We want to emphasize the AI-driven analysis, the core scanning feature, and the scientific backing.

Here is our tagline:

AI-Powered Supplement Scanner & Consultant for Science-Based Decisions.

My product in a sentence: SupplementIQ is an AI platform that scans supplement barcodes for instant, evidence-based ingredient analysis and provides personalized consultation.

Let me know if that instantly tells you what we do. Thanks for the feedback!

Ok , let's try:

"Automate Complex Workflows with Industry-Focused AI"

Ā sounds slick, but it could be almost anything from a Zapier clone to a consulting agency making n8n workflows.

ā€œComplex workflowsā€ is vague. Complex for whom? Finance ops? Compliance teams? Agency onboarding?

ā€œIndustry-focused AIā€ is the product industry agnostic?
