🚨 Community landing page roast: give a roast, get a roast 🚨

by

Let’s bring back everyone’s favorite kind of feedback: brutally honest and weirdly helpful.
Drop a link to your landing page in the comments. Then roast someone else’s. Keep it real, keep it useful, keep it (mostly) kind 🫶

🗣️ We’re talking:

  • What’s confusing?

  • What’s missing?

  • What’s great but buried?

  • Would you actually sign up or bounce?

👀 The rules:

  1. Give a roast → pick someone else’s page and leave thoughtful feedback.

  2. Get a roast → now you get to hear what’s not working on yours.

  3. Repeat for maximum insight (and pain).

Let’s make each other’s pages better, one slightly painful truth at a time 👇

Bro did you use a timemachine to come here a post this website? :D The design is so outdated it feels cute now.

I really wish Product Hunt had emoji reactions, so I could heart your comment. Believe it or not, that was actually intentional - a bit of a throwback to when I first started coding .NET in the 2010s. It also nods to the aesthetic of that era; with everything being SaaS now, I feel also like there's so little dev work in traditional applications anymore.

Much appreciated. I assumed it's intetional and in that sence you did a great job :) Good luck with your product and no hard feelings intended

• Here we go!!

 hey fellow finance maker!

Here are my thoughts:

asking for my location feels suspicious and erodes trust (presumably this is for language detection or something?)

your logo is a bit confusing at first glance, but thats a super nit

I like that you mention both uploading + banking integrations like plaid. makes sense to me.

comparing your spending to others is interesting. im not sure i would want that, but its cool!

overall, very cool and fun to see a more mature product in a similar space! best of luck!

Hey  ,

Thanks for the feedback!

We ask the User's Location this is for the Default Currency Selection based on where their located

Yeah the S in the Logo isn't super clear haha

Were also looking into more sources like PDF Statement Upload (We already have CSV Upload which is great!)
Compare your spend is useful for anchoring your finances to the area's median expenditure helping you make more informed choices on where to cut back!

Always open to working together as well! Was there any features you would've liked to see in the mobile app, we are pretty quick with the releases!

super interesting, yah ive had a ton of success using llm's to parse PDF's. esp with structured outputs, it seems quite reliable!

goodluck with your app!

Good explained FAQ section. Why Savi finance section- the text description is too long. Try keep it shorter or with screen/ images/ video explainer.

Social Media Channels: X is too empty, perhaps its better remove before getting a brand exposure in this channel.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'll update that before the weekend is over thank you!

On it, we'll start more activity on X once our Households feature launches!

Would love to know if there are any features you were looking for to adopt this solution into your workflow?

Let's keep in touch, as we building a porfolio solution/ P&L for crypto assets as one of our features in The One.

I'm actually an app developer but for my product created this below 👇 website on medium :- Be gentle 🥺

- Tear it apart, I can take it :'). Seriously though, we’re launching soon, so your brutal honesty might just help us fix things before it’s too late.

  • Please take care of the basics. your home page meta title still says - framer template

  • Instead of coming soon try with get early access or join waitlist CTA to create urgency

  • Try to add basic screenshots of the product to get a feel of your product

  • To build trust elements, try adding expertise behind this, may be like startups experience, fund raising. so that it will be clear why a user should trust this agent. (move away from general AI tool)

Hope this helps. Thanks

Thanks mate! I will make the changes!

  • It show me "Radison" when opening the home page

  • Footer: LinkedIn & Insta don't show anything else than... Li or Insta (no company there)

  • Bringing everything founders need into one platform: too vague, what problem are you solving here? Sharing information? Finding VCs? Looking for attention from the market?

Ping me for more, I could like it!

  • The main font hurts my eyes

  • Offering credits is great, but what does 60/500 credits per month mean (give examples)?

  • What problem are you solving and what's the pain here?

Ping me for more!

 Thanks for the tips, Greg!

If we missed you last time, now is your chance!!

Let's do this - pzaz.io

  • The pop-up with the free offer appears immediately, give people time to read what's Pzaz is about :)

  • FILM PRODUCTION SOFTWARE FOR CREATIVES: what creatives? Solos? Agencies? Bigger productions?

  • Plus we're all creative, for ex. I'm a creative marketer, but that doesn't make me a vid producer :)

  • All-in-One Solution: beware, this could be a turn-off for some of your targets, some could need something more specific

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me :)

Main image is low quality, a bit blurry. The Live Chat button in the corner is bigger then the logo of the website, cringe. Featured in section is super heavy with those black boxes, no need of that, make them lighter, like grey or white.

Here it is -

I like it. The purpose is clear, CTA works. There may be too many colours on the first screen. Overall solid landing page.
