Hi builders! 👋 It’s Saturday. What’s your way to relax and recharge?

My way is daily walks and regular meetups with someone’s orange cat 🐈 who also loves walking with us 😉

I incorporate some work, but yeah, daily walks, nature, reading a book :)

Boris Gostroverhov

@busmark_w_nika Nika, awesome, we have almost the same list 😂 What kind of books do you like to read? What have you read recently?

Nika

@gostroverhov The last one was The Diary of CEO (Steve Barlet) :D but now reading textbooks and workbooks (learning German) :D

Boris Gostroverhov

@busmark_w_nika Nika, that’s cool — you can clearly see your business interests :)

I was surprised that you’re learning German, considering that everyone around is learning English (myself included) :D

If it’s not a secret, why this language in particular? I personally like it, but for now I only have enough energy for English.

Nika

@gostroverhov I collaborate with one German-based company + market is quite "rich". But besides that, I am learning other languages, e.g. Spanish too :D

Julia Zakharova

I walk with my family through the parks, by the river

Boris Gostroverhov

@julia_zakharova2 Oh, nice! There’s something special about family walks ✨ I love parks too 😊

Terrence Wang
I enjoy watching classic movies at home, good way to recharge mentally:)
Boris Gostroverhov

@terrence_wang1 Awesome! I’m curious, what kinds of movies do you like most?

We recently rewatched the first two parts of Back to the Future and really enjoyed them 😊

Terrence Wang
@gostroverhov I like mystery film a lot, just watched Shutter Island again over the weekend, love Leonardo’ performance!
Boris Gostroverhov

@terrence_wang1 Yeah, this movie really doesn’t leave you indifferent. The ending is especially impressive, it was so unexpected. Thanks for sharing!

Long walk + switching off notifications completely. Building solo means your brain never fully leaves work mode, so the disconnect has to be intentional.

Boris Gostroverhov

@imad_elkhafi Absolutely agree, great approach! I’ve actually stopped taking my phone with me on walks so I don’t get distracted, because the temptation is always there 😊

IMAD EL KHAFI

@gostroverhov Leaving the phone at home is the real move honestly otherwise you're just carrying the distraction with you. Hard habit to build but worth it.
