Hey PH community, We're super excited to share Potluck with you! We created Potluck because we wanted a better way to plan things with our friends and family. We tried everything -- project management tools overwhelmed us with features we didn't need, simple to-do lists weren't collaborative enough, and endless email and text threads left everyone annoyed and confused. so it is a group todo list? needs more like the ability to vote on things, places and times. Those are the killer features.

Nice feature, but I don't like the UI/UX, the visual aesthetic is fine, the problem is it felt like it had too much modal windows for a simple app, and the buttons are in too many different areas of the interface.
Perfect timing. We have a ' bachelor party to plan later this year.

- We wanted to keep pricing as simple as the product. If you pay annually, it's $1/month. If you pay monthly, it's $2/month. You can create your first project for free to try it out.

Thanks ! Currently it doesn't, but it's something we're thinking about. We want to make sure we're balancing adding useful features with simplicity/ease of use. We'll keep you posted on that though!
Huge fan of this product. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and it’s refreshingly simple. Feel like other tools are getting more complicated (trello, etc) but this does exactly what it says it will. Two pieces of feedback: - would be nice to have a status indicator (besides just adding a comment) - would be useful to thread tasks by category (I.e. lodging folder, food folder, etc) with sub tasks

Thanks ! Completely agree on other tools becoming too bloated over time. Status indicator - Good suggestion. We'll definitely consider something like this. Tasks by category - Have you tried using headers for this? Click on the options menu beside a task and select "Change to Header".
Headers lose the category when you complete them. Would like completed tasks to still belong to the section.

The biggest hurdle when planning trips/events is locking in a date when everyone is free. What’s the best way to do this on Potluck?

Hi Sheryl! We just launched Potluck Polls - to allow quick votes for locking in dates / locations / etc!
Love it. It’s simple enough that when you share it with folks it actually makes everyone’s life easier. When’s the app version coming?!
