Can't really form an opinion myself but it looks like it'd be super helpful. Sending it out to my writer friends!

Such an amazing idea. It really helps to publish the novel so fast and easily without any haste of time.

I used this the other night to get a long-gestating story out. The multiple-timeline view is fantastic and really easy to rearrange intertwining narratives. It's more sophisticated approach than Scrivener's corkboard and more flexible than a physical corkboard / index cards without having a whole lot of spare floor or wall space. Also, there's no need to have all your timelines arranged chronologically (although naturally that makes sense), as these work just as well to plan out your story beats in a non-linear story. I didn't venture too far into the other features as they're reasonably well represented in other apps. What I think would take this to the next level is if the story nodes/beats/scenes/chapters/whatever had multiple levels of granularity, so you could organise your timelines from a high level, then move into more specific breakdowns, until you decide you want to get into the actual prose for that breakdown.

@deejtulleken Really good ideas about the multiple levels of granularity. So like chapters, scenes, etc?

Cool concept, I’ll try it!

I wish I was a writer so I could use this

Downloaded the trial and the concept sounds useful. Thanks!

I really like the idea, but the FAQ/support pages are all broken, so I don't know if a Linux version is planned and cannot ask for one, either.

@isv_damocles sorry for the broken pages. I'll get on that right away. Linux is a possibility, but not currently planned. There just aren't that many writers who use Linux. Message me and I'd be willing to see what I can do for you

I've never found a visual plotter that I didn't quickly become disenchanted with, but Plottr is very easy to get to grips with, very flexible when it comes to adjusting your structure rapidly, and ultimately a very attractive and legible way to get a high-level breakdown of your story structure.

Pros:

Plot multiple timelines in parallel

Colour-code for organisation

Easily drill into index cards

Build character/location lists

Outline view

Cons:

Would be cool to be able to arrange cards between the cards on adjacent timelines

Plottr looks good at first glance it works also good in the beginning. However, when your content gets just a bit complex, it makes you lose it. I lost many hours of work. Plus, the export function will create an unreadable word document. Their support is aware of it but not able to fix it. So better stay away is my conclusion.
