Platform Design System - Create and share your design systems.

by
One source of truth for your design tokens. Live for teammates, previews, exports, and the AI agents writing your components. Author colors, type, space and the rest in one place. Every change stays live: for export, your team, and the agents writing your components. One document reaches the whole team. Developers get CSS and JSON, designers get DTCG for Figma, and agents read tokens live over MCP.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Miguel. I've spent 14+ years building software next to UX designers, and I kept watching the same thing happen on every team: the design is perfectly consistent in the file, and inconsistent everywhere else. Two greens that were supposed to be one green. A spacing scale that survives until the third sprint. A button that quietly becomes four buttons. Nobody is careless. The values just have no single home. They get copied by hand out of a design tool, into a stylesheet, into a component, into a doc, and drift starts on day one. Platform is a design token workspace. One place where a token has one value. Share it with your team, export it as CSS or JSON, and see it doing a real job on a preview page you write yourself. It also connects to the AI tools you already code with, so the agent writing your components reads your actual tokens instead of guessing a hex. On how I got here: I started out trying to build a Figma killer. My reasoning was that Figma is a visual design tool, not a software engineering tool, and someone should build the missing half. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to accept that software is too broad to solve with one tool. But design consistency? That plagues all of us, at every team size. The moment I stopped trying to replace the canvas and focused on the problem of sharing the assets, everything got simpler: the scope, the interface, and the reason anyone would use it. It's live at platformdesign.app and free to try. I'd love to hear how your team handles token drift today, and what would make this genuinely useful for you. Tell me what's missing. 🙏
