It's finally here, the highly anticipated new pro photography app by the makers of Pixelmator. "Pixelmator Pro is an image editor packed full of innovations. So the tools at your fingertips are smarter and more powerful, yet more intuitive and easier to use than ever before.". Just wish they have a trial version soon.

Pixelmator has been a mainstay in my workflow for a few years, despite not editing photos all too often. I love that it feels familiar to a former Photoshop user, but offers utility beyond it's $60 price point. This is a top-tier alternative if you cannot justify spending $20 per month on a Creative Cloud subscription. I've already purchased Pro and am excited to dig in.

Using it on daily basis, much easier than PS, the great option when you're not a professional designer, but still, need to deal with graphics and need PRO-tool for it.

I've been using Pixelmator for awhile, and upgraded to Pro as soon as I could. This software is amazing. My only issues is that I am still terrible at actualy using photo/image editing software and would love to see some more training videos on the interface. Someone needs to get a course up on Lynda.com ASAP.
