PixDone – ToDo App with pixel Effects - Enjoy random pixel rewards every time you check off a task.

by
PixDone is a ToDo app inspired by retro 8-bit games. Every time you complete a task, you’ll be rewarded with pixel-perfect effects that make you feel good. Work becomes a little less boring, and ticking off tasks becomes your favorite moment of the day.

One day, after finally finishing a bunch of boring tasks, I crossed out the last one, crumpled the paper, and tossed it into the trash. It felt great. That’s when I wondered — why can’t a to-do app feel just as satisfying? So I made PixDone, a minimalist task manager that rewards you with retro-style joy every time you finish something. 🎮 What makes it fun: -A clean, simple interface -Pixel-art animations when you complete a task -Random effects — some are rare, and worth the wait. -Combo bonuses when you smash tasks in a row -“Smash List” mode: pure stress relief, no planning, just crush fake tasks -Dark mode ready and mobile-friendly We’re in early development and would love your feedback. Try the demo and tell us which moment made you good!

OMG, the pixel art rewards are truely addictive! I'm easily distracted, but the little animations are such a fun motivator to actually get stuff done. That "Smash List" mode is kinda genius imo — perfect for when you just need to blow off steam. How's the sync between desktop and mobile?

Sorry for the late reply.

I hadn’t been actively developing PixDone for a little while, but I’m back working on it again and making steady updates.

Since your comment, here’s what’s new:

• Swipe between lists (mobile-first horizontal pager)

• Sync between desktop and mobile — tasks now follow you across devices

• Refined sound design mapped by action (add / complete / cancel)

• Polish & hidden tweaks — smoother animations, Smash List refinements, and a few small surprises

Still keeping it simple. Still keeping it satisfying.

Would love to hear how it feels now if you get a chance to try it again.
