by

Paste is a smart cloud clipboard history and snippets manager for Mac. It keeps everything you've ever copied and lets you use your clipboard history whenever you need it from all your Macs.

update - @stel2K! Been using this for 4 days now. Being able to search for a code snippet I copied days ago is... JUST SO GOOD. I LOVE YOU PASTE!!!!!

Just checking that if I paid for Paste before, will I get a free upgrade?

@kurtybot Paste 2 is a free update, so if you have a first version it updates automatically via Mac App Store.

I love this product. I've been using it for about two months and have started to adjust my behaviors to make use of it. I would really love to see the makes add Skitch functionality (for annotating captured/copied images). I think that elements of that interaction (capture, annotate, review) work better on desktop, which is why I still use Skitch (a dead product).

@stel2k - I loveeeee Paste but have one issue. Even though Paste is open, it often does not show in my menu bar. Is there a trick to get it to always be there? This makes it impossible for me to access the board showing last copied items. I have even tried the shortcut for "Show Last Pinboard" with no luck. Example: https://www.evernote.com/l/AArCW...

I love Paste 2 and use it daily for work (my job involves a lot of copying and pasting links and not having to constantly switch back and forth between tabs is a real time saver). I was wondering, though: is there a way to "lock" a snippet to prevent accidentally deleting it? So far that's really my only complaint.
Shea Lignitz

Really relieves the headache of going back and forth between tabs and windows copying and pasting one thing at a time. Copy images, plain text, links, etc. You can even tell it what kinds of things you don't want copied (e.g., passwords, etc.).

Pros:

Great for storing things you only need for a short while and things you'll need longterm.

Cons:

I haven't found a better alternative.

What about Android app?

A good improvement would be made by adding a little quick response like changing the shape of the mouse or something else nearby. That would tell me clearly whether I have just copied something or not. The sound of copy acts very unreliable, and annoying when I listen to some music or working in a quiet place. It's a stupid design which fails.

Pros:

It support different formats like text and pictures, and sells me where it come from

Cons:

Sometimes the copy fail, and I have no clue it failed until I try to paste it
