Hey hunters! I’m Mark, the co-founder of Parma, a digital notebook to track your customer and business relationships. A lot has changed in the world in last years and daily launches on Product Hunt are great proof of that. **But what didn't change for years? think about it…** The world is still built on top of human relationships. Relationships are the invisible force that shapes our lives and influences everything around us including personal well-being, business success and international cooperation. ****Old-school CRMs suck at building and maintaining relationships.**** You would think that CRM, which is short for customer relationship management would be the best tool to help with maintaining relationships. But old-school CRMs evolved into complex platforms for sales departments to help them convert leads, close deals, and calculate commissions. Sales-focused CRMs encourage a "sell and forget" culture and are unsuitable for empowering lasting business relationships. **With Parma we want to build a new type of product that solves an ages old problem.** **We are building Parma with a different set of assumptions:** - It should be about relationships, not sales pipelines. Focus and priority are on the relationship between people. - Relationships don't happen when you sit behind the computer. The mobile experience is more important than the desktop. - It is NOT for the sales department. Other roles hold important relationships in the business and will also be using the tool. - It should not require an army of consultants to get started. Parma is our take on relationship-centric product. We intend to rethink the relationship management concept and build it from the ground up by putting relationships at the center.

Is it a smart Google Calendar or how does it work?
Mark Kofman
@ititov_agency, it's not a calendar. It's a tool to organize your business relationships in one place. Very similar to CRM products, but without all the complex sales features.

@mark_kofman sounds good. I want to test)

Excited to use parma from early days & grateful for removing the hassle of CRMs. This simple way of tracking interactions with contacts was something I was always missing. Hubspot, Salesforce etc, they are good for sales, but not for relationship building. Good luck folks & looking forward for further updates!

@kussberg thanks for your support!!!

Great product, great mission! I usually don’t recognize, but most important business relations can only be build slow and steady, and usually there is no time to focus on them - Parma sounds as something important to have in my pocket.
Mark Kofman
@sergei_verbitski thanks Sergei. You influenced the product a lot through our walk and talk sessions :)

It is easy to neglect the importance of managing professional relationships. @mark_kofman and the team are building a product that should help do this efficiently without any distractions of a complex product. Parma has an opportunity to make a difference in how you manage your network!

I really like the spin you put on the CRM, it reminds me a bit of Clay. I think personal CRM or solopreneur-focused CRM is a great space to change the typical database UI/UX paradigm.
Mark Kofman
@caz_vlad thanks, Vlad! And congrats on great launch today!
