I wouldn’t recommend staying in Canggu Bali. Two of the rooms are close to a very busy loud road. Even with earplugs it’s impossible to get any sleep. Furthermore the windows have no curtains or blinds so you’re woken up by the bright sunlight at 6am. Awful experience. They refused to even give me a partial refund.

Had an appalling experience in Canggu, Bali. There is zero soundproofing to the room and it’s right next to a busy road. The noise of the vehicles keeps you awake all night long! There are no curtains or blinds on the windows so if the noise doesn’t keep you awake the sunlight will wake you up at 5.30am! I booked for three nights, moved out after the first night. They refused to refund any money. Avoid at all costs!
