I'm Muki, and I've been building Orbit Agents — a free, open-source desktop app that lets you schedule AI tasks (Claude & Gemini) to run automatically.
Think of it as cron jobs, but instead of writing scripts, you just write prompts.
I built it because I was tired of paying for cloud automation tools like n8n just to run simple scheduled tasks. Now I use it daily to automate:
- Morning news briefs with cross-domain analysis
- Sentry error report summaries
- Google Analytics weekly digests
- Health data tracking from my Garmin watch
- Even a personal AI butler that manages my schedule and finances
