Hm.. maybe I'm missing something, but is there a reason that the promotional images show a transparent black border while I have the standard macOS gray border?

😍 So much love for this. Great rethink of the tired browser designs we're all used to. Split screen is a wonderful concept too (though it's quite worrying how badly responsive design has been implemented in some cases!) πŸ™Œ Props to the Opera team. Stunning work.

@matt_aunger Thanks for the love Matt!

@chetaaron Maybe I'm being dumb, I can't get Facebook videos to work! I click them in my news feed but always get the "Something went wrong" message. The same videos work perfectly in Chrome.

@matt_aunger Fix is coming soon :)

@chetaaron πŸŽ‰ Hooray! I'm not being dumb this time πŸ˜…

@matt_aunger haha ;p keep an eye out for the update on Monday :D

Slick UI and the split screen browsing is amazing. I'm excited.

πŸ‘ Hat (if I ever wore one) goes off to the Opera team! As soon as I saw the video, instantly downloaded & within 5 minutes am finding the UI slick, clean & overall it's pretty responsive. Congrats!

@gadgick Thanks Nick we are glad you like it!!

Two things. Extensions support + VPN this is something I need in a modern browser, especially dev tools. The browser itself is very nice and fresh, I really like it.

@csaba_kissi Free VPN that is ;)

@eonpilot Free of course :)

I totally love it! Is there a way to have the black/translucent window bar like in the screens and video?

DAMN! That UI is pretty slick. That alone makes me want to switch.

I really love the interface and it looks better than chrome imo. However I'm kinda locked by all my chrome extensions. Also Chrome's multi user support is a necessity for me. I've tried quite a few browsers in the past and most of them look really cool, but I've got to switch back to chrome in the end for the same reason.

@sgzhaohang Agreed, a Google profile column to switch between them but in the same browser. I'm sure there's a lot of technical challenges to doing that but I'd love it all the same!

@sgzhaohang I'm in the same boat. I use multiple Chrome profiles for each of my Google accounts (work, personal, etc). It's the one feature that keeps me using Chrome, despite the horrible battery drain on my Mac.

I like the direction you are going with this. Multitasking in split screen mode felt super nice. It made me want even more windows so I could have a "control center"/"dashboard" kind of feel when I work. Perhaps a dynamic, tile-like UI. Food for thought :)

Love what you've done with the UX. It's about time somebody tried shaking it up a bit! My only question is, is there a Linux version? (Currently stuck on my Windows machine, so I can't tell if the download link detects OS)
