Congrats on the launch! Love the idea. I was in the ad space for several years as well. You're recreating an ad network for independent medias which is pretty cool. Curious about pricing do you take a cut of the advertising budget or you make advertisers pay for a subscription to be part of the network?

@mehdi_rifai Thanks a lot Mehdi! And yes, that's exactly the idea I had in mind hehe, to allow ads for smaller medias/advertiser (and big ones as well) For now there is no pricing or commissions, but I will probably add a subscription later for advertisers based on feedback 😁

Interesting product and congrats on your launch! Love that it came with a ad profit calculating tool. I used to run a news site and I had to cold-email sponsors one by one. Think Open For Ads would have been a wonderful way to shortcut the process if it has a good amount of willing sponsors!

@verasun Oh, glad someone noticed it 😂 I didn't find any tool that was doing it properly so I made my own, hopefully, it will help indie makers figure out what metrics they need to run ads properly (and improve if needed) And yes, the goal is to quickly find media. For now there is no messaging feature, just the email, but that's something I could add on the long term, making mass offers etc

I love that Open For Ads is free to use and doesn't take any commissions. It's a refreshing change from other ad platforms that take a cut of your earnings.

@inder_chahal Thanks!! 😁 Indeed, media are the ones who needs the $, so it's better for them if they get 100% of the revenues And pretty sure advertisers won't mind paying a few bucks for an improved version of the app later
