I'm Justin from Obello. We're super excited to introduce the latest addition to our AI Studio, Gen Pen.

AI image and design generation is improving rapidly. High fidelity outputs through basic text prompting is becoming more and more ubiquitous. However, editing AI outputs through natural language prompting still feels clunky and often times frustrating. Moving an object 10 pixels to the left or removing a specific element within an image is harder and less intuitive with AI than with basic design software.

That's why we decided to build Gen Pen - a more intuitive and seamless way to edit by prompting AI through drawing directly on images and designs. In addition to text prompting, you can now show our AI models exactly what you want refined.

From our discussions with 100s of design teams, we've learned that designers and marketers want more control over their AI design outputs. At our core, we are an AI design platform focused on enabling teams to produce on-brand creative content at scale. We see Gen Pen as another stepping stone in achieving this goal.

This makes so much sense. Prompting is great for generating ideas, but precise edits are still where a lot of AI tools break down. The draw and prompt workflow feels way more natural for actual design work 👏 Congrats on the launch :)
