Imajourn is a powerful interactive simulation sandbox that brings the physics of waves and sound to life. Whether you are an artist, a physics enthusiast, or simply looking for a meditative digital escape, Imajourn offers a mesmerizing playground of light, motion, and geometry. Explore the beauty of Cymatics - the study of visible sound vibration - through our advanced wave engine. Watch as sound frequencies organize chaos into order, creating intricate Chladni patterns that evolve in real-time. Key Features: Interactive Wave Simulation: Touch and interact with a live ripple tank. Create waves, observe interference patterns, and place custom boundaries to shape the flow of energy. Chladni Patterns & Cymatics: Unlock the secrets of resonance. Generate authentic Chladni figures - complex geometric patterns formed by standing waves - and control their frequency and amplitude with precision. Audio Reactivity: Turn your environment into art. Use the Microphone Mode to visualize your voice or music as dynamic waves and vibrations that ripple through the simulation. Stunning 3D Mode: Take your journey to the next dimension. Switch to 3D to explore volumetric wave interactions within geometric containers. Rotate, zoom, and observe physics from every angle. Particle Engine Experience: Watch thousands of particles simulate fluid dynamics, flowing and colliding with realistic physics for a truly tactile experience. Record & Share: Capture your mesmerizing creations directly within the app. Record high-quality videos of your wave experiments to share with friends or on social media. Imajourn Pro: Upgrade to unlock the full potential of your journey, including unlimited access to advanced presets, extended customization options, and the ability to import your own custom shapes and 3D models. Immerse yourself in the math of nature. Download Imajourn today.

This looks so satisfying 😍

Waves + sound physics as an interactive playground is such a great idea — feels like a mix of a meditation tool and a creative toy.

Quick question: does it support saving and sharing presets / scenes? Would love to send my favorite “patterns” to friends ✨

Congrats on the launch! 🙌

@elevenapril Thanks much for the comment! Glad you liked it. In this current version, it doesn't support custom presets, but hopefully we will have it soon. In the meantime, you could also use the record button to share videos. Thanks once again!

this looks like an amazing app. as it has controls and plays realtime this would be the perfect app to control using midi/osc protocols and Ableton link. Audio reactivity controls as well. Or internal LFO controls to automate slider movements. With these features I would consider going pro Another great feature would be NDI as output which can stream the video as source to a video destination that supports NDI. This is all possible on iOS.

@t_p_jacobs thank you very much for your comment Paul. Yes, I believe there are a lot of possibilities for audio reactivity and interactive controls. Hoping to have some kind of OSC controls in the future. Will keep your suggestions in mind. Thanks once again!

Hey everyone,

This looks like a fascinating tool for creative exploration. The ability to interactively simulate waves, sound, and geometric patterns like Chladni figures is a unique way to generate organic visual inspiration for patterns, textures, or even conceptual art. As a designer, having a digital sandbox to play with these natural physics phenomena could spark ideas for fabrics, wallpapers, or installation concepts that are rooted in mathematical beauty. It seems less like a utility and more like a sophisticated toy for the creative mind. Very intriguing.

It looks smooth and beautiful! There’s probably a lot of math in the code, right?
