worth trying out. Congrats on the launch!

Thanks, Ramit! Would love to hear how it goes when you try it, especially anything that feels unclear or takes more effort than it should. You can also tag 'askngram' on a text-heavy thread on X/twitter, and it’ll turn the thread into an explainer video.

 Thank you Ramit!

Congratulations. And happy product launch.

Thank you, Huisong! Really appreciate you stopping by and supporting the team 🙌

This is quite nice, especially if the product updates are quite technical in nature! Well done!

Thanks, Uddipta! Technical updates especially benefit from showing what changed and why it matters. We’re launching a GitHub integration soon that will turn each PR into an explainer video, initially for internal teams, with customer-facing changelogs planned too. Hopefully that makes those updates easier for everyone to follow.

Really like how ngram turns a plain screen recording into an explainer with an AI avatar narrating it.

Thanks, Kareem! A recording shows the steps, and the narration helps explain what’s happening and why it matters. Glad that combination stood out to you. Would love to hear how it works for a walkthrough of your own product.

I wish you guys put some samples at

sorry for the miss, thats a bug. Fixed it now, you should see good examples. Thanks Jay!

Congrats on the launch! Explainers, screencasts and avatar videos in one tool is a real time saver. Which format do people create most: explainers or screencasts?

Explainers mostly 😀. Its easy to get started with and low friction

Makes sense, explainers are where the value is clearest. Congrats again on 2.0!

looks interesting!! how does it integrate into existing docs?

just give it the link of the docs and it will create a video for it.

Congratulations on 2.0. I am preparing a launch video myself at the moment, so this is close to home. The part I find hardest is deciding what the script leaves out, more than the visuals. When ngram plans the message from release notes, does it ask who the video is for before it writes, or does it work the audience out from the material?

Thanks, Kaosar! You can specify the audience in your starting brief alongside the release notes, so it guides the script from the beginning.

For example: “For existing customers, focus on what changes in their workflow and skip the implementation details.” I’d make that explicit rather than rely on the material alone to communicate who’s watching. And I agree: deciding what to leave out is often the hardest part.

Thanks, Rishikesh, that's clear. Putting the audience in the brief is what I'd want to do anyway, so it's good to know the script follows it from the start. Good luck with 2.0.
