I made a bunch of promises in the last launch thread. Here's the scorecard.

Last launch ended with 91 comments. I answered every one, and in most of them I said "not yet, that's next."

Six weeks on, here's what actually happened.

Done: @maschiojv asked about Paddle, it now has 21 curated failure patterns instead of a bare spec import.

Meridian is live on Product Hunt today! We’d love your support and honest feedback.

Hey PH we are live!

We built Meridian because too much real work gets lost between tickets, standups, and end-of-day updates.
It runs locally, turns your activity into a clear timeline, matches work to Jira and GitHub tickets, and drafts updates for your approval.

Meridian is open source, MIT-licensed, free for individual developers, and requires no account. Nothing leaves your device until you approve it.

We re launching today and would especially value feedback on the onboarding, activity timeline, and drafted work updates: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

What did you do differently on your best launch compared to your worst one?

I've been reading a lot of launch retrospectives lately and the interesting ones are never about the standard playbook (email list, communities, replying to comments, we all know that part). The good stories are always something specific the founder figured out for their own product, like one who spent the week before launch in the forums stress-testing his premise, so by launch day half the commenters already knew the product and had context.

If you've launched here more than once, what did you actually change between your launches, and which change made a real difference? Just as useful, what did you double down on that turned out to not matter at all?
