NetPulse – Internet Diagnostics Tool - Like Speedtest, but never stops monitoring your connection

by
NetPulse is an open-source, browser-based internet diagnostics tool that continuously monitors your connection — not just a one-shot speed test. Multi-connection download & upload tests (4 parallel streams), real-time ping, jitter, packet loss tracking, and a live stability score. ✅ No login, no tracking, no data collection ✅ Download-only, upload-only, or both ✅ Export as TXT, CSV, or JSON ✅ WiFi alignment mode for dead-zone hunting ✅ 100% open source (MIT)

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built NetPulse because I was frustrated with traditional speed tests. You click "Go," get one number, and have no idea if your connection is actually stable throughout the day. NetPulse runs continuously in your browser and shows you what's really happening — latency spikes at 3pm, jitter when your roommate starts streaming, throughput drops during peak hours. Under the hood, it uses 4 parallel connections (like Ookla's "Multi" mode) routed through Cloudflare's edge network. All measurements go through your own Worker — no third-party services, no tracking. A few things I'm proud of: → Bufferbloat-aware latency measurement (pings are only counted between tests, not during) → Real-time stability score (0-100) that combines all metrics → WiFi alignment mode — walk around with your laptop and find dead zones → Multi-format export (human-readable TXT reports, CSV for spreadsheets, JSON for devs) It's fully open source (MIT): https://github.com/netpulsedev/n... Try it live: https://netpulse.eu.cc Would love your feedback — what metrics or features would you want to see next? 🚀
