Naptick AI - Al sleep companion that helps fall asleep without struggle
by•
Naptick is a smart bedside AI sleep companion designed for founders, professionals, light sleepers, and anyone struggling with nighttime stress or doomscrolling. It combines circadian light therapy, 1000+ adaptive soundscapes, room condition intelligence, app-locking, and an on-device AI sleep coach to help users fall asleep faster and wake up refreshed. Unlike passive sleep trackers, Naptick is built phone-free by design and actively helps improve sleep before the night begins.

this is super cool, have you thought about adding other sensory sleep aids like aromatherapy?
Naptick AI
@buildingoggles interesting thought, we currently don't have a plan to add aromatherapy but very interesting to hear such suggestions and we'll explore things that make your sleep better.
Massive congrats to Anubhab, Aman, and the whole team on the launch! The hardware design looks incredibly sleek.
As a fellow backend dev, I noticed you guys are using Gemini for the agentic voice layer. I'm actually building an open-source AI FinOps proxy right now (ARKA) specifically to handle multi-model routing and token tracking.
Curious—with a hardware device that might be pinging Gemini all night long, how are you guys handling the token limits and cost tracking per user? Is it all custom-built in-house?
Awesome work today, rooting for you guys to hold that #2 spot!
Imagine Naptick gently lowering the room temperature via smart plug + fan/AC integration when it detects you’re struggling to fall asleep. Environmental intelligence on steroids
Naptick AI
@ethan_thompson3 you are reading our roadmap. Naptick already senses room temperature continuously, along with CO2, humidity, VOCs, and ambient light, so the diagnostic brain is there today. The next layer is actuation, exactly what you described. Smart plugs, fans, AC, smart thermostats, all triggered by what the device sees in real time. The room becomes the intervention, not just the input.
There is real biology here too. Core body temp drops 1 to 2 degrees during sleep onset, and a bedroom around 65 to 68F genuinely speeds that drop. Right now Naptick can tell you your room is two degrees too warm. The next version just fixes it while you brush your teeth.
As a customer would you want Naptick to just act on this autonomously while you sleep, or surface a quiet nudge first? Curious where you sit on the autonomy versus consent question.

Congrats team Naptick. Is the product warranty extendable like Apple Care plus??
Naptick AI
@syed_shayanur_rahman Thank you! Honest answer, we do not have an AppleCare+ style extended program live yet.
For the founding batch (first 90 units, shipping now), the better deal is actually human, you get a direct line to me and the engineering team through onboarding, and we handle replacements and issues personally rather than through a support queue. At our scale right now, that beats a paid extended plan.
Extended care is on our list as we scale past the founding batch. Logging your interest as a real data point. If you want to grab one, launch.naptick.com, code PHMAY for $25 off (Product Hunt only).

Congrats on the launch Anubhab. Seems like a good phone-free innovation in sleep tech.
Question on a jovial note, on the landing page there is a video in which you used the hammer on the phone screen, why didn't it break? :D
Naptick AI
@roopreddy Thanks ! Yes,t he phone can stays out of the bedroom, Naptick handles the lights, alarm, soundscapes, and journaling, all by voice.
Congratulations on launching Anubhab. Are you shipping it worldwide or select countries only?
Naptick AI
@zerotox Thank you! Founding batch is shipping within the US and India right now. Other international is on the near roadmap, we want to get the these experience tight before we open it up.
If you are outside these countries, drop your country in a reply and I will log it. Helps us prioritize which regions open first.

@priyankamandal Thank you so much! That genuinely means a lot to us.
Sleep impacts almost every part of our lives, yet most people today are struggling silently with overstimulation, stress, and screen dependency. We really do hope Naptick can help spark a healthier shift toward more intentional, restorative sleep experiences.
sleep is one of those categories where the gap between 'tracking' and 'actually feeling better' is massive, as I have to learn every day. curious whether this closes that gap?
Naptick AI
@renkethye That’s such an important point — and honestly one of the biggest reasons we started building Naptick.
A lot of sleep tech today is great at telling you how badly you slept, but not necessarily helping you feel calmer, unwind better, or build healthier sleep habits in the moment. We’re trying to close that gap by moving beyond passive tracking into an active, adaptive sleep experience through sound, light, voice interaction, and personalised routines that actually help you rest better over time.
Naptick AI
@kr1v Exactly - sleep is deeply personal, and that’s one of the core ideas behind Naptick. Over time, Naptick learns patterns around your routines, sleep timing, interaction habits, environmental preferences, and recovery behaviour.
So whether it’s stressful workdays, inconsistent schedules, late nights, or other lifestyle patterns, Naptick gradually adapts the soundscapes, lighting, and sleep routines to better support how you unwind and recover instead of giving everyone the same static experience.

I think you could have positioned it for founders and entreprenures - and it should have covered the markets majority :D
Naptick AI
@asti_pili Hahaha honestly, founders and entrepreneurs are definitely one of the biggest unintended target audiences already 😭
Irregular schedules, overstimulation, stress, late-night scrolling, poor recovery — startup life almost feels like a perfect use case for Naptick. We started broader because sleep struggles are universal, but we completely see the founder angle as well.
