Congrats on the launch! I like the idea how it handles everything for non-coders, from the database to the backend, so they can just focus on building big ideas. Makes the whole process way easier for beginners - don't have to figure out all features in the launching platforms.

AI these days is crazy.

Thanks so much, Sig! That’s exactly what we’re aiming for, to remove all the friction so non-coders can stay focused on their ideas, not infrastructure.

AI is evolving fast, and we’re just trying to make sure more people can ride that wave without needing a CS degree. Appreciate the kind words!

Love the ability to have everything in on place. I gave it quite a long prompt and it got me halfway there. It ended up building a landing page instead of an web application which was not quite what I expected.

I think there's a lot of potential here and having the tool ask more prompting question to better understand what the user wants could help nail the intention of the prompter better.

Yeah we're designing a "follow-up question tool" and also want to work more on what we call the "Scaffolding UX", which is when a user presents their idea but it needs to be 1) refined and 2) broken down into reasonable tasks.

It's a tough balance because depending on how you prompt the experience can be quite different.

We wrote a prompt guide which might help, I typically wouldn't ask for too much in the first go but lay a foundation and build upon that:

Great. But is there a way to host the application somewhere else and on your platform? Some sort of integrations...

What do you have in mind? Why do you want to host it elsewhere? What integrations are you interested in?

Nothing in particular actually. It's just so that in case somebody wants to use the whole website for internal use and only host it on their own server?

you can download the code and it's self-hostable on cloudflare (and likely other platforms), but we strive to make it as "all-inclusive" as we can.

Let us know why you're thinking of self-hosting so we can serve this use case better!

Great product. Way more of a fully baked app creation tool than these other "vibe POC" tools. Also feels much faster and less cluttered than lovable.

thanks Kip. This is 💯 our goal

thanks Kip for the kind words!

this is the first time I’ve seen an AI app builder that actually abstracts away the technical infrastructure without sacrificing real functionality. congrats!

Thanks Willy, appreciate the kind words!

This is awesome. I’m looking forward to the first Mocha-built millionaire! Or is there on already

Thanks John. I also cannot wait for the first Mocha-built millionaire, we talk about this a lot internally!

wow this looks amazing!

 Thanks Mike!

Mocha is the easiest AI app builder out there. It takes care of all the gnarly backend stuff like auth, payments, databases, etc. So cool!

thanks Emmanuel, the words mean a lot

Mocha is by-far the best tool in this space

means a lot, thanks for the kind words and definitely let us know if there's anything we can improve for your use case

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm Sheila, one of the makers of Mocha, and we're thrilled (and slightly terrified 😅) to finally launch on Product Hunt!

Mocha is for anyone who has an idea but doesn’t want to fight with no-code builders, APIs, or databases.

You can describe what you want, and Mocha builds a real working app, from UI to logic.

This has been a labor of love for months. We’ve seen people build:

  • A booking site for dog grooming 🐶

  • A custom CRM for a local real estate agent 🏠

  • Even a quote generator for a Texas carpenter’s shop 🛠️

We built Mocha to make sure no technical skills doesn’t mean no product.

We’d love to hear what you’d build with Mocha. Drop an idea or say hi 👇

And if you find Mocha interesting, your upvote means the world today 🙏

Thanks for checking us out!
