Thanks for asking. The elegant thing about the mirrord architecture is that all the meaty stuff, i.e. proxying logic from the local machine to the cluster and back, happens at the process/pod level. This means mirrord only cares about the single pod - and it doesn't matter if it's running in a cluster with one other pod or 1000.
