minimalist phone app for iOS - Your calmer, digital detox experience on iPhone

Imagine saving 80 hours/month. That’s nearly $3,000 you’d normally get for work instead of mindlessly scrolling. minimalist phone brings a true digital detox to iOS with a clean, blank-screen design. Block addictive apps, remove colourful icons, and get kicked out of your phone when time is up. Reclaim focus, improve well-being, and spend more time offline with people you love. The app is also for people with ADHD.

Congratulations! Here comes my late vote...

Hey! What a kind surprise to see you here again! :)

Just got a chance to have a look here. Hope you're doing well!

yeah yeah, I think things could be better (they restricted me from LinkedIn), but otherwise good. :D WBY? :)

sorry to hear about that, hope you get back in soon. I'm good, thanks! Just working on Trangram and doing some illustrations with it.

finally on iOS! apple is usually super strict with launchers. is this a full home screen replacement, or does it use the shortcuts/widgets workaround to hide the clutter?

Big upvote

Even though I am an android user and can't try out the app, I think Nika, you're my favorite PH user, so I'll support you all the way!

❤️ This means so much to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

P. S. We have an Android version too! :)

I would love to see some stats on how much screen time reduction users experience after a week or two.

This is a great idea for some study btw. If there are any students or university that like to conduct a scientifical research, we are open to it!

Love the concept here! It often seems like our phones are actively making our lives and society worse. I’m all for apps that want to turn that around and help us to have a better, healthier relationship with our phone.

Thank you, Chris. To be honest, I am not an ideal example of a "digital detox" because I spend a lot of time on a desktop. Anyway, you are right, we need some means to "mute" the activity on social media :)

Been using it since over a year. The team is so proactive in taking suggestions and implementing it. Love the app and the team

🫠 I am melting. Thank you, Rohit! :)

On iOS, people can always fall back to the default home screen and Screen Time can be bypassed—what’s your strategy for creating a “default” calmer experience that users don’t abandon after the first day, and how do you think about bypass-resistance vs. not making the phone unusable?

 This comment is top!

The iOS version of the minimalist phone app is difficult to quit because the process takes quite a lot of time, not only uninstalling the app, but at least doing 5 other steps to return the screen to the "normal" :D It is an exhausting process, sorry – not so sorry.

On the other hand, we do not support hard restrictions and believe that people should have an inner motivation to use their phones less, so the UI/UX is still user-friendly, people can use their regular apps, but with some "barriers".

It is a kind of compromise. :) I will gladly answer any question :)

Was looking for an app like this yesterday… can’t wait to test it out ❤️‍🔥

If you need any help, write me on LinkedIn! :D :)

Heyyy congratulations!! This looks really great ! We all need something like this to help us to increase focus better & block apps on while working. I wish they also block spam calls

Priyanka, I am so thankful for your support :)

This concept really hits the pain point—using tech to fight distractions rather than create more. That’s pretty geeky. Features like notification filtering, app blocking, and anti-addiction reminders are exactly what I need when coding. Would be even better if it could sync with Pomodoro timers or system focus modes. Bookmarked—will try it next time I need deep focus. Simple and effective tools are the real deal.

 Thank you :)
