Meerkat Cameo - Invite viewers to take over your stream

we just tried it in the PH office. it's a lot of fun. love that it's only 60 seconds. just enough time to share something. 👍killer new feature. I saw a few pushes today from my friends who were making cameo's. Would be cool if the push came maybe 30 seconds before the cameo starts, so I'd have time to see my friends (maybe it already does 😃)

Also i can see this feature moving into the territory of Snapchat curated "Stories". Right now Snapchat handpicks events + locations but it'd be interesting if on Christmas for example I jumped on Meerkat with my family members across the world for a "private broadcast" so we can all feel like we are together in the same room... and after the broadcast I could save the full video and keep it as a memory. No video editing necessary. This could obviously be done for public broadcasts as well.

congrats @benrbn and the team! My dream Cameo is Tom Cruise - I had a crush on him when I was 8 y/o while watching Top Gun - so I ended up marrying a pilot ;) Bring Tom!

Love the feature, think it's a really cool idea. I was on the official #CameoParty stream and it seemed to be having some issues, I'm sure they will figure it out!

The first time I saw Meerkat it gave me the feeling it had contributed something different to online communication. It continues to revolutionize what was once just webinars, but is now a new arm of social media. Love it!
