Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We built Love Language Compatibility Test because every existing love language quiz stops at "Here are your love languages." Great. Now what? You already know your love language. The real question is: what happens when your language meets theirs? When someone who needs Words of Affirmation loves someone who needs Acts of Service — who feels loved? Who feels starved? And how do you bridge that gap without resenting each other? How it works: Pick your primary love language (from Gary Chapman's five: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Acts of Service, Physical Touch, Receiving Gifts) Pick your partner's Choose your relationship type — Romantic, Friendship, Family, or Colleagues Get an instant compatibility score plus a full AI-generated analysis What makes it different: 🧠 AI that writes like a friend, not a textbook. Our system prompt explicitly bans phrases like "communication is key" or "this pairing has great potential." Instead, the AI tells you what it actually feels like when two love languages collide — the comfort zones, the missed signals, the small moments of translation. 💯 A real compatibility score based on a 5×5 scoring matrix — not random. Same-language pairs score differently from cross-language pairs, and the analysis adapts accordingly. 🔄 Four relationship contexts. The same two love languages hit differently in romance vs. at work. The AI shifts its lens: emotional intimacy for couples, loyalty signals for friends, generational gaps for family, professional appreciation for colleagues. 🌍 15 languages, natively. Not just translated UI — the AI generates its analysis in your language, with culturally tuned prompts for Chinese (Simplified & Traditional) and English, plus 12 more locales. 📤 Shareable results. Encode your result in a URL, send it to your partner, and they open it to see the full analysis — no account, no database, just a link. 🆓 Free, instant, no signup. Ever. The tech behind it: Built on Next.js 15 (App Router) + React 19, deployed on Cloudflare Pages with Edge Runtime for low-latency AI calls. DeepSeek powers the analysis. Cloudflare Turnstile keeps the bots out. Everything is open-source-friendly and i18n-first via next-intl. This is part of Compatibility Hub — a free platform with 5 tests (MBTI, Zodiac, Moon Phase, SBTI, and now Love Language). We believe compatibility tools should be fun, insightful, and accessible to everyone. No paywalls. No data selling. No signup walls. We'd love your feedback — especially on the AI writing tone. Does it feel like a real friend talking, or does it still sound like a bot? Help us make it better. 🙏
💎 Pixel perfection

the way it blends the cosmic angle with actual mbti questions is honestly kind of refreshing, like it doesn't feel like a generic personality quiz throwing vague results at you.

One feature I'd love to see is a "growth insights" tab that shows how two types can complement each other's weaker functions over time, rather than just static compatibility scores. It would make the results feel more actionable and less like a label.

Hey! Your "growth insights" suggestion was amazing, I’ve already implemented it 🎉

Now the results page has two tabs: one is the original "Compatibility" (score + strengths + challenges), and the other is your suggested "Growth Insights". The new tab includes:

Growth Potential Score: Different from the compatibility score—combinations with low compatibility actually have higher growth potential because there's more room for complementarity.

Complementary Paths: Shows specifically how your blind spots are covered by the other person's talents, and vice versa. Each also comes with a small action you can try this week.

Growth Timeline: From "Starting Translation" to "Becoming Bilingual" to "Fusion & Symbiosis", each stage has a milestone.

Translation Guide: For example, "When they quietly fix something without saying" → "That’s their way of saying I love you through actions" → "You should acknowledge it out loud: I noticed you fixed it, thank you."

You’re right, before it was too much like labeling—"You score 75, you need to improve." Now it's about "how you can grow together," which feels much more actionable.

Do you want to give it a try? Give me your feedback!
