I got tired of thinking about content every day, so I built a system to do it for me

by

 Hey everyone,

For most of last year the worst part of running my company wasn't sales or product. It was the little voice that hit me every morning around 9am asking "did we post today?"

If you've felt that, this one is for you.

I'm Wissem, founder of Marketing Stack. We're based in Montreal. I want to share why we built this, because a lot of people I talk to are dealing with the exact thing I was dealing with two years

ago and don't realize how much mental space it's eating.

Quick context, with real numbers, because I think this part gets handwaved a lot.

HubSpot's 2026 State of Marketing report (1,505 marketers surveyed) found that the #1 social challenge teams reported was just "keeping up with trends." 32% said that. Not budget. Not measurement.

Keeping up. Meanwhile 75% of teams are publishing on 5 or more channels and short-form video ROI roughly doubled year over year (24% to 49%). On the B2B side, SalesHive's 2025 benchmarks put the

average buying journey at 192 days and 62 touchpoints across 6.3 stakeholders. Last-click reporting makes content look useless but the numbers say it's compounding the whole time.

So zoom out for a second. You're being asked to:

  - Show up daily

  - On 6+ channels

  - With short-form video that's actually good

  - For roughly 6 months before someone buys

While you also build a product, do sales, hire, fundraise, talk to customers, and have a life.

That's not a workflow problem. That's an "I have to think about content every single day" problem.

  I tried everything before MS:

  1. Canva + a pile of templates. Looked fine. Took an hour each day. Got dropped the second I had a busy week.

  2. Hired a freelancer. Reliable for 3 weeks. Ghosted me right before a launch. Twice.

  3. Tried an agency. $2,800+/month and the content felt like it was written for nobody.

  4. Bought 4 different "content AI" tools. They all spit out the same beige LinkedIn motivational sludge and made my brand look like everyone else's.

What I actually wanted was stupid simple. I wanted to stop thinking about it. Not save 2 hours a week. Not get 12% more reach. Stop. Thinking. About it.

So we built Marketing Stack as a system, not a tool. The difference matters more than it sounds. Tools need you to log in. Systems run on their own.

  Here's how it actually works:

Step 1. You give it your brand once. The platform extracts your voice, visual style, target audience, content goals, and product type, and writes a brand doc you can edit. (Side note, HubSpot

found 40% of teams haven't even documented their UVP. We make that the first 5 minutes.)

Step 2. It generates fresh content every day across 6 social channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, X) plus writes the long-form blog post and publishes it to your website.

Step 3. You can review and tweak from one calendar, or you can not. We have brands that have been posting daily, completely unattended, for 30+ days.

The thing I'm most proud of isn't any single feature. It's that I can forget about it for a week and the company still looks like I'm hustling.

Why I think the timing matters:

67% of marketers in the HubSpot study said AI saves them 10+ hours a week. 80% are using it for content. But 61% also said brand POV and taste beat raw AI output, and 63% said they need more

unique, human-centered content to stand out. That's the part most "AI content" tools get wrong. They generate. They don't extract your brand first. The output is generic because the input was

  generic.

We start with your brand. The output looks like you, not ChatGPT in a trench coat.

A few honest numbers from people using it:

  - Replaces roughly $2,800/month in junior designer cost (Quebec minimum wage math, $16/h)

  - Replaces 4 to 5 separate tools (Canva, scheduler, copy AI, blog tool, designer)

  - Most users go from 1 or 2 posts a week to 1+ post a day, across 6 channels, without adding hours to their week

  - Algorithm-wise, consistency is what TikTok and IG actually reward, and TikTok usage among marketing teams grew 62% YoY in the same HubSpot study

A weirdly specific moment that made me know we'd built the right thing: I was at a wedding in another time zone, fully off my laptop, and three different people in two days told me "your brand is

really active right now, what's your strategy?" I hadn't touched anything in five days.

What I'd genuinely love to hear from this community:

If you're a founder or marketer here, what's your actual breaking point with content? Is it the writing, the design, the posting cadence, knowing what to post, or just the constant low-grade guilt

of "should I be posting more?" The more we hear, the better the system gets.

And if you've abandoned a marketing tool in the last 6 months, tell me which one and why. We're trying to build the one you don't abandon.

If you want to try it, the trial is at marketingstack.app/ 3 days, full access to every content type. Happy to set up your brand for you if you DM me, that's free.

Thanks for reading. Curious what painpoints I missed.
