I've spent a lot of time in the open-source and SaaS worlds, and I've noticed a frustrating trend: modern AI builders are amazing at getting you to a 'Hello World' demo, but they leave you stuck with a frontend and a sandbox. You get something that looks like an app, but there's no real backend, no real database, and no real ownership. They keep the keys to the kingdom.
