MakerLoft - AI app builder. Backend included.

MakerLoft is the AI app builder with the backend included. Chat to build; it spins up a real Laravel + MySQL backend on your DigitalOcean and pushes code to your GitHub. If it breaks, the AI self-heals. • Backend Included: Real Laravel 13 + MySQL on day one. • Total Ownership: Your repo, your server, zero lock-in. • Self-Healing: AI fixes its own errors and crashes. • BYO AI: Use your own Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI keys at cost. Stop shipping demos. Ship real apps.

Hey everyone! 👋

I've spent a lot of time in the open-source and SaaS worlds, and I've noticed a frustrating trend: modern AI builders are amazing at getting you to a 'Hello World' demo, but they leave you stuck with a frontend and a sandbox. You get something that looks like an app, but there's no real backend, no real database, and no real ownership. They keep the keys to the kingdom.

We built MakerLoft to change that. Backend included isn't a feature — it's the whole point.

When you chat with MakerLoft, it doesn't just generate UI. It spins up a real Laravel 13 + MySQL backend on your DigitalOcean, pushes clean code to your GitHub, and wires the whole thing together. It's not a hosting platform; it's an orchestration layer. You bring your own GitHub, your own DigitalOcean, and your own AI keys. MakerLoft acts as the senior developer who writes professional-grade code and ships it directly into your infrastructure.

The 'Self-Healing' part is what I'm most excited about. We didn't want to build a tool that hands you a codebase and walks away. MakerLoft stays on the job — it watches builds and production logs. If it sees a crash or a deployment error, it fixes the code and re-deploys before you even notice.

Why we think this matters:

  • Equity: You own the asset from day one. If we disappear, your app keeps running.

  • Real backend: Laravel 13 + MySQL — the stack real SaaS companies are built on, not toy code.

  • Wholesale prices: No platform markups on AI or hosting. Bring your own keys, pay at cost.

We're in beta and would love for you to kick the tires. What's the first real app you're going to build (and actually own)?
