Lotus - Open-source pricing & billing

Hey Product Hunt! Diego and I are the founders of Lotus, an open-source pricing, packaging, and billing engine that powers usage-based, per-seat, and bespoke enterprise plan pricing. We’ve built a real-time system that helps AI, SaaS, and Fintech companies convert product usage → revenue. Monetization and pricing are core aspects of every business that is often overlooked. We built Lotus to give product managers and rev-ops the tools to treat pricing as product and experiment with custom usage metrics. As a fellow open-source startup founder, I can say that Lotus is a fantastic addition to the open-source ecosystem. Its pricing and billing engine is incredibly versatile and can be used by businesses of any model. The real-time system allows for easy optimization, testing, and deployment of pricing, and the streamlined metering, entitlements, and invoicing are a huge plus. I am impressed by the work that Mikael, Diego, and the whole team have put into this project, and I do not doubt that it will be a valuable asset for any business that uses it. Keep up the good work, guys! And keep pushing the boundaries of what open source can do!

We were an early customer and are excited about where this is going. There is a lot to digest regarding SaaS billing, and it was refreshing to find a team focused on solving technical problems with an open-source mindset. They also were able to offer hands-on guidance on billing decisions that (sometimes much larger) alternatives lack. Excited to see the team go.

Thia is interesting. So when and at what stage you would suggest Lotus could be used/helpful the most? Beta launch with waiting list or it doesn't matter?
