Longitude - See how the world sees the world powered by AI corroboration

by
Longitude shows how the same news story is reported across the world. Using AI, it clusters articles covering the same real‑world event, summarizes them neutrally, and assigns a Corroboration Score based on how broadly and independently the story is reported — not whether it’s “true.” Track agreement, divergence, and global coverage across 66 outlets in 20+ countries, all with full transparency and no ads.

I built Longitude out of frustration. In today’s news environment — with AI content, polarised outlets, and selective framing — it’s hard to tell whether a story is widely corroborated or just highly amplified. Most of us only see one version of events. Longitude clusters reporting on the same real‑world event and shows how widely it’s covered and how consistently different sources agree, across countries and editorial environments. It doesn’t tell you what’s right — it shows you the context so you can decide for yourself. I also wanted this to be accessible. The ability to sanity‑check the news shouldn’t be a premium feature. Longitude is free to use, with no ads and no sponsored content, because understanding how information spreads should be available to everyone. Would love thoughts on whether this helps you trust — or question — the news you’re seeing.
