Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Olgun, the solo developer behind LexUp. I started building LexUp because I felt vocabulary learning apps were becoming too complicated. Too many screens, too many features, too much noise. I wanted to create something simpler: a clean vocabulary app with a calm interface, but with a strong learning system underneath. With LexUp, you can test your vocabulary level, discover words that fit you, practice them with flashcards, and reinforce them through word games. The idea is simple: less clutter on the surface, smarter learning in the background. LexUp is still young, and I’m improving it every week based on real user feedback. Love how LexUp skips the usual "throw random words at you" approach and actually asks what level you're at first. That level-based recommendation feels way more respectful of someone's time, especially for folks who already know the basics.

A lot of vocabulary apps treat every learner the same and keep showing random words, even when they’re far too easy or completely irrelevant to their current level. We wanted LexUp to feel more personal from the very beginning.

By understanding your vocabulary level first and continuously adjusting it as you use the app, LexUp can focus on the words that are actually worth your time — not words you mastered years ago, and not words that are unnecessarily advanced yet.

LexUp is still only three months old, and we’re shipping major updates almost every week, so there’s still a lot we want to improve.
