The native JetBrains support is a big plus. Does it feel as smooth as using Kilo in VS code?

@violet_amelia yes! it's not an embedded browser anymore and you can do a lot of things in just one IDE frame
Having 500+ models sounds useful, but i am curious how easy it is to pick the right one for a specific task.

@sawyer_benjamin I hear you on this, right now each model is attributed with description: cost, capabilities it help but it's not enough, we will integrate kilo bench insights pretty soon!

Really love that finally some open-source Alternatives come to the Dev Tool market 👍

oss ftw!
What has surprised you most about how developers are using the paltform?
Native Kotlin instead of reusing the VS Code build is a good call. Does each agent worktree make IntelliJ index all over again?
Openfort
Interesting approach for agent swapping between models, i can see this being a strong feature when i run out of tokens with a live session! congrats!

Does the JetBrains version support custom model configurations? I could see experienced developers waiting pretty fine grained control over that.
Kilo Code
@desire_waterman We generally support BYOK and local models but if you have a model in mind please tell us more, it's likely to be shipped faster than you think!
Great tool, thank you. Does it support Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini via a subscription?
JetBrains users finally get a native option instead of having to change their whole development environment. That makes this launch pretty interesting.
