22 and launching Keepsule tonight after a year of solo dev — any last-minute tips?

by

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I'm Abdoul, 22, and I've been solo-building Keepsule for the past year. It went live on the iOS App Store yesterday, and I'm excited to share it with this community.

The idea: what if your memories had a send date?

Keepsule lets you write a letter to your future self, save a photo album from a trip, or log a goal you're chasing — and lock it until a date you pick. When that date hits, it unlocks. A birthday six months out. A graduation next year. An anniversary a decade from now.

You can also send a capsule to a specific friend, or drop one into a public Space where strangers reflect together around a shared theme (grad year 2026, turning 30, "things I wish I knew at 18," etc).

Why I built it: I kept writing notes-to-self I'd never see again. Journaling apps felt too heavy, group chats too loud. I wanted the quiet of a time capsule, with the nudge of an app that remembers for you.

In the box:

  • 6 capsule types: Letter, Diary, Goals, Reflection, Gallery, Event

  • Unlock by date or life milestone (graduation, anniversary, custom)

  • Send capsules to specific people via share links

  • Public Spaces for shared time capsules

  • Free tier with 3 capsules/week; Plus unlocks more types + higher limits

Under the hood: Flutter + Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Functions, Storage) + RevenueCat. Everything built, shipped, and supported by one person.

Would genuinely love your feedback — especially on the social layer. That's the part I'm still figuring out. What would make you want to post into a public Space vs. keeping everything private?
