What happens to all the skills students gain from projects?
Hi, I’m Almaz, the solo founder and developer of JOBMagical.
I kept noticing that students spend weeks working on school assignments, GitHub repositories, and personal projects, but much of that work stays inside a folder once the project is finished. The skills and problem solving behind it rarely appear clearly in their job applications.
That is why I built JOBMagical. It analyzes a person’s projects, coursework, GitHub activity, and resume, then uses that work as evidence when matching them with jobs and preparing tailored cover letters and resume bullets.
I would like to hear your honest thoughts. Have you ever built a project that helped you develop useful skills but never appeared on your resume?
Thanks,
